Each piece is made by hand and as such there will be variations making it unique in its own way. Some pieces have natural elements and as such are not microwave or dishwasher safe.
Each product is made by hand in our tiny studio in Savanna-la-mar, Jamaica, using a variety of techniques; such as slip casting, hand building, sculpting, and pinching. Each detail (texture, painted or natural materials) done by hand with assistance of small machinery and modern technology to advance our designs. Due to the nature of one of a kind, hand-built ceramics, measurements vary and sizes are approximate. Each item is a unique, one-of-a-kind work of art and measurements may sometimes vary up to half-inch. We do our best to provide you with top quality work that most closely resembles the photograph, but please keep in mind that you are purchasing a likeness that has been hand replicated.
Ceramic glazes all have subtle effects that vary from kiln firing to kiln firing. We typically use food safe glazes unless otherwise noted; such as gold lustres and special effect glazes such as crackle, matte, crystalline and lace. Each glazed piece is unique and has its own personality. Glazes seen in the photos may vary slightly in color and appearance, as each glazed piece is unique.
I do my very best to provide you with the highest quality work. If the work leaves my studio, it is because I feel that it stands to the level of quality one would expect from my studio.

All of our ceramics are glazed with certified food safe and lead free glazes unless otherwise stated. We recommend hand washing your items to best preserve the work, and avoid prolonged soaking in water if the item is unglazed. Dirt and stains on unglazed surfaces can be removed with a scrub brush and a bit of baking soda. Metal marks from silverware (due to the ceramic being harder than the metal) can be easily removed with Bar Keeper’s Friend . Do not expose the wares to sudden, dramatic shifts in temperature (e.g. placed into a hot degree oven from room temperature). All of our work is made with high-quality porcelain. All products are handcrafted. There may be some slight variation in color, texture, and finish. These are not considered flaws.
To care for your piece, please hand wash with a mild detergent and air dry. You may wipe with a dish cloth if necessary.
